Pvd is not God, but when I hear what he plays in 2007, it is much better than what we get to hear on most amsterdam's gay parties... I dont even think that he plays only trance those days... Anyway, sure it is a matter of taste and I will go.
The Worlds Biggest Club Festival and Europe's Main Electronic and Dance Music Conference.
ADE has grown into a business conference that attracts 1900 key professionals and a club festival audience of 65.000. The ADE club festival was conceived from the idea that the dance business needed a stage to present their DJs and acts during the conference. This has evolved into an extremely diverse and exciting night program of label showcases, CD presentations, guest performances, live acts and special performances in record stores and museums.
Some of the gay venues in Amsterdam participate officially, others do it the unofficial way.
See the full program on their website.

Last thing about this:
PvD is not God, Trance is not thé rule. But: trance and PvD also aren't 1999.
Ooops. Apologies for having an opinion. Everyone please note: PvD is God, and trance rules! For reference, check DJMag.
why fuzz about the DJ or music? everybody has a different taste and there is a market for everything/everyone or every age for that matter.
if you like it - go there. if not: go somewhere else.
P-men, maybe you are still living in your early years. But also a DJ Paul van Dyk is from 2007 and playing the music of 2007. Yes, still trance, but trance is still a huge scene and up to date to 2007. And for sure still better music then the boring 13-in-dozen music of most gayparties.
And... it is not for nothing that the world wide people choose Paul van Dyk 2 years already as the number one DJ of the world. (DJMag)
(talking about that list: Number 1 is PvD, number 2 is Armin van Buuren, number 3 is Tiësto, 4 Christopher Lawrence, 6 Ferry Corsten, 7 Sasha, 8 Johan Digweed and 9 Above & Beyond: All trance DJs, so 1999? Don't think so :) )
Well, maybe -- if it were 1999....

19th in Powerzone Paul van Dyk who plays great Music. Would be more fun if more homos go there
